Pores, holes and other surfaces are phone notes, the starting points that I used as an indicator to construct and designate a sculpture. An object that later on I call creature. It represents a body as a function of diverse production processes and use of a variety of materials. The shape is organic, yet artificially constructed. Inspired by E.T., pareidolia as a psychological phenomenon and skeuomorphism, the objects study the surface, not as a question of materials, but a substance of relations.
Mediation of the body through technological advancements hinders a permanent physical context as a possible site of presence. The video works change the perspective of the viewer as a participant and vice versa. The two standing creatures mimic the (any)body and simulate the accumulation of circulating materials.
